Hi. I had the elevator
exchange below this morning with a WashU medical student (with whom I am not
yet acquainted). The student’s reference to ‘the hat’ is to the Clinton
campaign cap (with safety pin attached) I wear all day every day on
campus. The student and I were the only ones on the elevator.
Student: “I see you are still wearing the hat.”Doug: “Yes. The 52+ million, the numerical majority, must in my opinion continue to be seen and heard.”Student: [after a pause] “I wish I had the courage.”
